THE LUNGS
The lungs are light pink in color and consist of spongy tissue. They are in the chest cavity, which they almost completely. Due to the presence of the heart, there is less space for the left lung, which is therefore smaller and lighter than the right lung. The right lung is via grooves or fissures divided into three lung lobes. The left lung is separated by a fissure and consists of two lung lobes.

LARYNX
The larynx is located in the front of the highest part of the neck and passes into the trachea. When food intake is the larynx closed.

TRACHEA
The trachea is a tube reinforced by cartilage in the middle of the neck and the chest cavity, the air inhaled into the lungs carries.

BRONCHI
The inhaled air through the bronchi, the two main branches of the windpipe to the lungs. The bronchi divide into numerous fine branches ending in the alveoli.
